Chongqing's Own Bund: Nine Dragons Binjiang Road – A Surprise at Every Hour
Mentioning the Bund, people would definitely think of Shanghai. However, right here in Chongqing, there's also our own version of the Bund.
This is my local nine dragons neighborhood along Binjiang Road. Don't look at it as just a riverside road; you can spend an entire day here.
The location is very easy to find – pinpoint coordinates as 'Chongqing Bund', at the end of Yangjia Ping Da Dao, directly under the E'er Gong Yan Bridge.
In the early morning, the city is shrouded in mist, and only a few scattered people stroll along the riverbank. You might think, 'It's not so impressive.'
But you're wrong. After a night of cleansing, the morning air is the freshest. The riverside breeze, filtered by nature, is a mouthful – not only full of negative ions, but also with a hint of grassy fragrance.
This time of day is particularly suitable for morning exercise, especially for the elderly and fitness enthusiasts.
The sun slowly reveals its smiling face, and everything becomes clear. As they say, green is the color of spring, and this vibrant young grass truly lives up to the hype.
This time of day is perfect for families with children to come and play, allowing them to connect with nature. You can dig in the riverbank, and children can also fly kites.
A clear blue sky brings a sense of serenity. The spring sunshine is truly comfortable, like a mother's gentle caress, warm and friendly.
Gather a group of friends, bring your family and children, a blanket, a cup of milk tea or bubble tea – what's not to love?
This time of day is ideal for gatherings and excursions, especially when the sun is shining, allowing you to fully enjoy the sunbath.
Besides the natural scenery of the Bund, the man-made buildings are also beautiful. If you're tired, you can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy a drink.
I recommend a local Sichuan-style restaurant – first find this wish wall, and you're almost there.
At first glance, it's almost like Lijiang – it's true! Head up to a very stylish restaurant, and both the food and the appearance are excellent.
After a full meal and drink, you can continue to explore the surrounding area. Not far away is the Piano Museum. To enjoy a free visit, you need to make an appointment in advance.
This promenade is filled with French charm, accompanied by the golden light of sunset, it's perfect for strolling and dating.
Finally, let's end with a stunning view of the setting sun, as the sunset fades, everything returns to peace.
Chongqing friends, what are you waiting for? Come here and enjoy the good weather!
