Wutong Marsh, We've Arrived

April is a beautiful season with bright sunshine, a perfect time for a spring outing. My family and I went to Wutong Marsh () for a spring trip.

Racing along the highway, the atmosphere was filled with the spring vibes. Around 2 pm, we arrived at Wutong Marsh, and by then, the entrance was already teeming with crowds, everyone eager to enjoy the beautiful spring weather.

Following the crowds, we entered Wutong Marsh. As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by the Cherry Blossom Avenue, which immediately captivated me.

Along the roadsides were cherry blossom trees, and a gentle breeze caused the branches to sway, with pink petals fluttering down, creating the illusion of a cherry blossom rain. The fallen petals covered the ground in a pink flower carpet.

The air was filled with a delicate floral scent. In the sunlight, we walked along this dreamlike Cherry Blossom Avenue, and our hearts felt just as bright as the spring sunshine.

We boarded a cruise boat to Lakeside Island. Standing by the ship's side, we admired the blue sky, the clear lake, and Lakeside Island, nestled in the embrace of the lake, with green trees surrounding it – it was like a green gem resting in the waters of Taihu Lake, making us forget all worries and immerse ourselves in the beauty.

As the boat moved towards the center of the lake, many seagulls flew in the sky, circling the boat, as if welcoming the distant guests.

Upon arriving at Lakeside Island, we ate and chatted about the beautiful scenery and interesting experiences along the way.

We walked along a shady path, passing Tian Street to reach the summit, where we enjoyed a 'Monkey King' performance. The monkeys' clever and amusing performance won the applause of the tourists.

Being in such a breathtakingly beautiful place, who wouldn't want to linger and not leave? I was completely captivated myself.

At 5 pm, we took a boat back to Wutong Marsh. At that time, Wutong Marsh had transformed into a sea of flowers, with vibrant pink cherry blossoms, and various unidentified small flowers in bloom, competing for beauty.

The cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The best viewing spot for cherry blossoms in Wutong Marsh was beside Changchun Bridge.

Changchun Bridge is a stone arch bridge with a steep slope and streamlined design, with a rustic and elegant appearance.
