Xinjiang: A Place You'll Never Want to Leave!

Xinjiang, a place you'll never want to leave once you've been.

If you haven't been to Xinjiang,

you must put it on your schedule.

Because......

If you haven't been to Xinjiang,

you won't know what 'just-arrived-from-the-middle-east-with-lamb' is.

If you haven't been to Xinjiang,

you even won't believe that all the world's wonders are gathered here.

Open roads, awesome!

People often say, the most beautiful scenery is always on the road. Only by traveling and stopping along the way can you appreciate the beauty of this world. That's why we have these routes that everyone wants to take.

The Kuitun Highway—The Hero's Road (total length 561km).

From Kuche to Xayarq, it crosses the towering mountains and deep canyons. This highway runs through the vast Tian Shan Mountains, truly a 'Road to Heaven.'

The Tarim Desert Highway—China's First Desert Highway (total length 522km).

It crosses the 'Death Sea' – the Taklamakan Desert, known as the 'Green Wall' in the desert. It transforms the 'Death Sea' into a green oasis, a road to hope. It's built to develop the rich oil and natural gas resources in the core of the Taklamakan Desert, a road to happiness.

The Yizhou Highway—Heaven on Mountain Top (total length 180km).

Beautiful snow mountains, vast grasslands, blue sky and white clouds, and galloping horses along the way. The scenery is wonderful at every turn.

The Karakul Highway—The Road Paved with Life (total length 1224km).

Between the ancient Himalayas and the Karakorams, on the 'Roof of the World' – the Pamir Plateau, stretching for thousands of kilometers, is a highway. When the Karakul Highway was built in the past, about 700 people from both China and Pakistan sacrificed their lives, equivalent to one life per kilometer.

Xinjiang's highways are like time tunnels. The scenery on both sides is worth looking at for a long time. You never know what beautiful scenery you'll encounter the next second. That's what makes it a truly 'unfinished story.'
