Weihai Wending: Cherry Blossoms Announce Spring – The Perfect Time for Cherry Blossom Viewing and Scenery Appreciation
During the Qingming Festival and the days following, it's the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. In Weihai, Wending District, around the Stone of Three Petals in Jieqi Town, Chu Xian, and surrounding more than a dozen villages, tens of thousands of cherry trees are laden with dense cherry blossoms, stretching as far as the eye can see, creating a sea of flowers. Wutong, Ruozhautian, Xin Zhuang, and other villages, homes have cherry trees planted in front of and behind their houses, and the farmhouses are enveloped in a sea of cherry blossoms like snow.
Entering Kunquanshan, you can still see patches of apricot blossoms, like pieces of white clouds, with apricot blossoms clustered together, lively and bustling, dotted with rich spring vibes at every branch. Walking through them feels like stepping into a world of flowers.
