Every year after the Spring Festival, admiring the woodlot flowers has become a good opportunity for island residents to go on vacation. This is also the busiest time for Hainan's west coast. Changjiang and Dongfang are good places to admire the woodlot flowers, especially in Changjiang, there is a special Woodlot Appreciation Tourism Promotion Activity every year, and a series of woodlot viewing viewing platforms and trails have been built on the nearby Changhua River and Bay. This year, you've already missed the best period for woodlot flowers, and it's still worth traveling to the west coast. There are few places in the world with volcanic coastlines suitable for tourism and sightseeing. Many islanders, when they see the spectacular photos of Dragon Gate in Danzhou, often mistakenly think it's 'poetry and distance.' They don't realize it's only a drive of two or three hours from their homes. The name 'Dragon Gate' comes from the roaring waves crashing against the gate, echoing for more than 10 miles. There are dozens of kilometers of beaches and cliffs, and the waves are so high that they are truly spectacular. Even Hangzhou, China, doesn't have such a view.

'I'm from Dan'er,' this famous line is from Su Shi when he was exiled to Hainan. Even a great writer like Su Shi was so fond of this place, what exactly does it have to offer? Danzhou is the economic, transportation, communication and cultural center of Hainan's west. Here, there are many scenic spots with historical stories, folk legends, and myths, as well as unique food culture. Danzhou has too many places worth checking in: Stone Flower and Flower Cave Geological Park, Songtao Heavenly Lake, Tropical Plant Garden, Blue Ocean Hot Spring Park and Yangpu Thousand-Year Ancient Salt Field, all of which are spectacular ecological wonders. There are also 60+ rare animals, including black crowned long-armred apes, leopards and bears in China. Besides food, Lingao also has the magnificent Ruin Waterfall in Lingao County, also known as 'Ancient Silver Waterfall.' The waterfall is 20 meters high and 20 meters wide, with a width of 400 meters. There are strange rocks and plants around the waterfall, with countless forms and patterns. The city is located on the coastline, with a coastline of more than 13 kilometers, the bay is shaped like an S, which is the ideal place for sunbathing and sand bathing. There are different scenery in these three corners, which is the best viewing point for sea view and strange stone viewing. The Great Broad Dam Reservoir's hydropower station is majestic and powerful, with a dam that is nearly 6 kilometers long, 144 meters high, and has an installed capacity of 240,000 kilowatts. It is the largest earth dam in Asia. Here is the earliest hydropower station in China, which is a historical witness of Japan's invasion and plunder of China. It is also known as 'natural park' in China. At sunset, the Great Broad Dam is the most beautiful time.
