The reporter saw at the east gate of Jingshan Park yesterday morning that the ticket sales windows were closed, and most passengers coming to the park knew this information and booked tickets in advance through 'Enjoy the Park'. At the park entrance, staff were repeatedly reminding tourists to scan their codes to enter using QR codes, while also conducting infrared body temperature checks.
'We have launched park visiting measures, taking multiple measures to reduce the density of visitors,' Jingshan Park Deputy Director Wang Bing introduced.
The reporter saw that for areas with high traffic volumes such as Wanqingting, the park implemented one-way flow control, setting up a temporary entrance at East Terrace Slope near the back mountain as the sole entrance and the west mountain road as the exit road. The upper entrance was set up with a 50-meter diversion fence. On the way to Wanqingting, there were also unidirectional tour arrows on the ground.
Due to the morning time slot, there was no queue at the entrance, and no tourists gathered at Wanqingting.
The park will also strictly control the number of visitors ascending the mountain based on real-time data statistics. 'During the morning and evening hours when there are fewer visitors, it will not be limited, but if the tourist volume reaches a certain perceptual density, it will implement batching and segmentation of visits,' Wang Bing said. The park will also broadcast directional reminders for mountain touring on the radio to minimize the gathering of tourists at the top and along the line.
In the lower park area, for key areas and narrow sections prone to instantaneous crowding, the park divided the open area outside the mountain into different responsibility areas, drawing specialized staff to continuously patrol and answer questions for visitors, guiding the tour route. Staff everywhere could be seen wearing badges and holding signs.
In addition, to ensure the effective execution of the strictest park visiting measures, temporary large crowd control is implemented in the gates, and when the number of visitors in the park reaches 30% of the annual carrying capacity, the emergency plan for large crowds will be launched, and the gates will temporarily suspend tourist entry. Staff will guide tourists to queue in line in accordance with the principle of maintaining a distance of 1.5 meters until the park returns to normal visitor levels, then enter in batches in an orderly manner.
