Silver Zone, Tiexiling City, Liaoning Province
Silver Zone, located in Tiexiling City, Liaoning Province, situated in the north of Liaoning Province along the middle reaches of the Liao River, 60 kilometers from the provincial capital of Shenyang, and occupies a transitional zone between the Liao Dong Ridge and the Liao River Plain. As of 2011, Silver Zone comprised 7 streets and 12 villages and 1 township.
Silver Zone has an area of 203 square kilometers (2004) and a total population of 39.1 million (2014). In 2014, the regional gross domestic product reached 108.0 billion yuan, an increase of 2%. The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 193,650 yuan. Silver Zone's Longshou Mountain Scenic Area is a provincial scenic area.

Silver Zone is only 47 kilometers from Shenyang, and it takes only 40 minutes to drive to Shenyang Poxian Airport. With a high-speed highway, it takes 2 hours to reach Yingkou Port, and 3 hours to reach Dalian Port. The Jingha Railway, Jingha Highway (National Highway 102) and Hadong Highway (National Highway) run through the entire region.
Tiexiling City Passenger Transport Center was established in April 1998 and is the largest national first-level public passenger transport station facing the public. It covers an area of 12,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 6,600 square meters and a parking area of 8,500 square meters. It has 125 routes with 377 vehicles. It has 777 departures per day and an average daily passenger flow of 129,000 people.
