On March 18th, the Red Pool Yunxiang Tourism Resort in Wuyuxi, Chongqing, was granted the national AAA-level scenic area designation, marking the beginning of agricultural tourism integration development for the 'Red Pool Yunxiang' component, specifically the Red Pool Dam Town Tea Mountain Village. Tea Mountain Village is one of the most remote villages in Wuyuxi County, Chongqing. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of poverty alleviation efforts, Tea Mountain Village has undergone a remarkable transformation – from being the farthest village from Wuyuxi City, to the closest to the Red Pool Dam Scenic Area. Once a village characterized by a lack of industry, poor transportation, and poverty, Tea Mountain Village is now a thing of the past. At the end of 2019, Tea Mountain Village was still striving to achieve national 3A-level scenic area designation. This effort did not go in vain; after a winter, Tea Mountain Village not only welcomed the spring season but also ushered in the 'spring' of agricultural tourism integration development. Tea Mountain Village is strategically located adjacent to the national 4A-level scenic area, Red Pool Dam Scenic Area, boasting distinct geographical advantages. In recent years, Tea Mountain Village has tightly adhered to an agricultural tourism integration development model centered on 'small groups, micro-farms, ecological, and distinctive' agricultural tourism, driving the transformation of rural areas into scenic areas and transforming farmland into parks. Currently, Tea Mountain Village is implementing the integration of fruit, medicine, and fruit-vegetable tea-herb cultivation, constructing 400 acres of ecological efficiency agricultural parks, 370 acres of standardized tea planting bases, and 430 acres of standardized medicinal herb planting bases, preparing to compose the song of agricultural tourism integration development.
