Lisboa Sandstone landform is formed by the action of inner and outer geological forces on thick red sandstone layers, with flat tops, steep sides, and gentle slopes, featuring peculiar landforms such as square mountains, stone walls, stone peaks, and stone columns. This landform is most typical of Guangdong Danxia Mountain, hence its name.

Guangdong Renhe Danxia Mountain
Shaoguan Renhe County Danxia Mountain in Guangdong is the number one of the four famous mountains in Guangdong, and is one of the most typical and largest Danxia landforms in the world.
‘Rusty red like cinnabar, brilliant like rosy clouds’ , people often use ‘Danxia Chibi’ to describe this mountain.
The first batch of Renhe Danxia Mountain in Guangdong was selected into the World Geopark in 2004.

Wuyi Mountain

Joined the World Geopark network in 2007.
‘China Danxia’ (Longhu Mountain) was listed in the ‘World Heritage List’ on August 1, 2010.
