Should Tourism in Jilin Province Be Half-Price for Residents?
It's actually quite common to find that many places offer discounts to local or city residents for tourism, but Jilin Province seems to lack such a policy, treating everyone the same.
Jilin really has a limited number of easily recalled tourist attractions.
Changbaishan (Longshan Mountain), Changying World City, Pseudo Imperial Palace, Jingetian Lake (Clear Moon Lake), Songhua Lake, Wuji, Hongye Valley, Dunhua Six Peaks and the Great Buddha, Chaggan Lake Winter Hunt, Wufuwenge (Five Women Peaks), Yanson San Guo (One Look at Three Kingdoms), Shi Dashougou (Fifteen Ditch Canyons)
This came to mind after just a moment's thought, and as a resident of Changchun, I can think of the first four. Many beautiful places are only open in winter, or only in the autumn and summer, which is really lacking. Looking at our Linxi (Lingxi), the tourism resources are also roughly the same, and the resource types are similar, which is why during long holidays, many Northeasterners go to the south for tourism.
How to develop tourism in Northeast China is indeed worth thinking about. The terrain is not good, perhaps it should consider more humanistic aspects.
