'Peach blossom' refers to the resin naturally secreted by peach trees, which is a viscous liquid. It is dried in the sun to create solid material. Due to its sufficient water solubility and appropriate viscosity, it is usually consumed after soaking in water for several hours.
'Peach blossom' is cleaned and soaked in water until it becomes soft like tofu before use. The elbow is cleaned and de-haired before being coated in oil to make the skin softer. The oiled elbow is then stewed in a large iron pot with the required seasonings and old broth for a longer time.
