Eight Lake West Suburban Ecological Park Completed! Another Leisure and Viewing Spot for Citizens

Recently, the West Lake Ecological Park in Biluhuo was completed in Jiujiang, adding a beautiful landscape to Jiujiang's portal. The project is located at the west bridgehead of the Biluhuo Great Bridge in Jiujiang City, at the intersection of Sha Yan Road and Changhong West Avenue. You can stroll through it and enjoy the views of the Eight Lake and Sai City Lake in both east and west directions, with a vast view and fresh air, and you can appreciate beautiful urban waterfront landscapes.

'It was originally a slum, and its management was chaotic due to historical reasons, and the surrounding environment was poor; after relocation and renovation, the villagers moved into a mature community, and this place also became a beautiful park, adding color to Jiujiang's portal, achieving a win-win situation between urban development and citizen's life improvement.' District Municipal and Landscape Bureau Officer Cai Jinliang told reporters.

The park's land area is about 98,000㎡, including green parkland and supporting parking lots, mainly consisting of protective green space, with a design and planning to improve environmental quality's ecological restoration green space, in accordance with the overall green space system planning goals of Eight Lake New District. The project's total investment is 15 million yuan. The green park design mainly uses greenways and walking paths, supplemented by well-placed key nodes, with winding and undulating walking paths preserving a large number of existing trees, and key nodes are set with cherry blossom forests, camellia avenues, maple avenues, ginkgo avenues, and bamboo landscapes, fully utilizing a combination of trees, shrubs, and ground cover, considering layering, diversity, and seasonality, reflecting the characteristics of urban parks, and showcasing 'Mountain and Water Famous City, Most Beautiful New District' urban charm.
