I inadvertently came across National Geographic magazine, which described it as the 'Sunshine Belt,' a perfect blend of modern civilization and natural scenery, and listed it as one of the 50 places to visit in a lifetime.
Da Nang is located in central Vietnam, near the ancient capital of Hue, in the coastal region of Southeast Asia, and ranks as the fourth largest city in Vietnam. Da Nang is a famous tourist city with beautiful scenery, and it is also a historical city that was an important place for the Vietnamese people to resist the French and American invasions.
Strolling through Da Nang, it's a city full of modern atmosphere, while maintaining a simple folk style and exuding exotic charm. You can see yellow buildings everywhere, and motorcycles shuttle along the roads, making it look so vibrant and youthful. In fact, Da Nang is also a city with historical roots and cultural significance. There are three World Heritage Sites in Vietnam, three of which are located in Da Nang and its surrounding areas, including Hoi An Ancient Town.
In today's society, people travel north to Western Europe, south to Africa, and circle the globe. Even a small country like Vietnam is not worthy of being ignored by people in the world. Vietnam has been a country ravaged by war and was once a French colony. There are many French-style buildings on the streets, but they are faded and dilapidated.
Vietnam has a humid, hot and rainy climate, influenced by tropical monsoon winds, with abundant sunshine and rainfall, producing rice, coffee, and fruits. It's a country that combines Eastern mystery and French romanticism. If you have read Marguerite Duras's 'The Lover,' a novel written by a French writer about love in Vietnam, you can experience Vietnam's eclectic style in modern history.
The dietary habits are similar to those of some ethnic groups in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Yunnan in China. People use chopsticks to eat and enjoy light, cold, sour and spicy food. Vietnamese people dislike taking group photos with three people, and they don't use matches or lighters to light three cigarettes continuously, as they believe it is unlucky. They also don't want people to touch their heads, and when sitting on the floor, they can't put their feet towards people.
People either cruise on the river or take a break in the bars and cafes on both sides, or take a ride in a rickshaw around the city to see Guang, the Japanese Lang Bridge, and feel the old-fashioned charm and freshness of the small town. On Sand Beach Street, you can see many Western tourists, especially Western girls and boys, sitting on the stone by the river, taking pictures of touching scenes.
When the rain is misty and the clouds are swirling, the scenery is just like a Chinese landscape painting with a sense of writing. Every quiet place is vividly alive, resembling three-point perspective and seven-point similarity, plus everyone's imagination, without a guide's explanation, I believe everyone will have different scenes in their hearts. The beautiful scenery along the way is endless.
