Wuyi Huangniu Terrace (Yin Furen Terrace) Ancestral Shrine Site
The original name of Huangniu Terrace is Yin Furen Terrace. Located 2.5 kilometers northwest of Wuyi City, Gansu Province, it belongs to the Qi Jia Culture site, dating back approximately 4000 years.
The site spans 500 meters east to west and 250 meters north to south, with a cultural layer thickness of 0.62 to 2.3 meters. It contains rich cultural connotations and has unearthed 9 residential sites, with kilns surrounding the houses, featuring circular, elliptical, and rectangular shapes.
The unearthed artifacts are predominantly pottery, followed by stone tools, bone and horn tools, and copper tools. Oracle bones were also found. Copper knives and chisels were produced using both casting and forging techniques. Stone tools were mainly made by percussion, and polished stone tools were also added.
