Modern Technology and Natural Harmony Coexistence
Why do painters love to paint in nature?
Why do writers like to write in the forest?
Inspiration comes from life, and life is inseparable from nature. The original landscapes can immerse people, relax themselves, and find the best creative inspiration from the depths of their minds! So many artists now ‘imitate’ the former, seeking creative inspiration in nature, thinking about how to combine modern technology with nature, and collide with it, to create exquisite ‘natural’ landscapes!
Ostankino Park

Ostankino Park (Ostankino Park) is a ‘garden’ surrounded by plants. It shone with infinite charm on the night of the 2019 Moscow International Art Festival and became a tourist attraction for the first time.LBL Communication Group created a new scientific concept called ‘light geometry’ for the park’s decoration.Carefully designed lighting fixtures were placed along walkways and alleys, making Ostankino Park a unique and dazzling park in Moscow’s night.
Can light change our perception of the original environment?
Can it open a road to alternate dimensions?
Can modern technology coexist harmoniously with nature?
Light geometry answered these questions with strength. It is an applied science, and all magical experiments are visible to the naked eye.

Each facility is integrated with the park landscape, to supplement or even expand visitors’ visual perception of the park.At the intersection of chaotic natural contours and strict geometric shapes, meticulously design a series of new virtual spaces of light.Like a ‘magic door’ or black hole lighting device, full of fun and atmosphere in Ostankino Park.

People like to explore new and interesting spaces. In just five days, Ostankino Park had 50,000 visitors. Tourists strolled through the park, appreciating the amazing artistic installations, and experiencing the mysteries of the installations. The working time of each device is precisely planned according to the volume of free space around the object, and can be adjusted when the number of visitors increases sharply.

In the park, people of all colors are playing, everyone is for...With ‘light’ plants close to the body, entering the mysterious forest.Various plants and high-tech lighting technology combined to create unique works. One of the works used lighting technology to make the tree's heart glow, giving it a mission like life, which is a classic ‘tree hole’. Everyone can say their secrets to it.
Designers created suitable projects based on the park’s unique natural landscape, and then installed the devices after approval, which was difficult to imagine. While ensuring that the vegetation is not damaged, they presented each device in a perfect posture for people to admire. To create wonderful things by combining with nature, they made a lot of arduous efforts!
Javier Riera’s Lighting Landscape
For the exploration of geometric forms and the relationship between nature, artist Javier Riera has continuously practiced, projecting light onto vegetation and landscapes, fundamentally changing space, and designing works that create dialogue between nature, geometry, and audiences.Riera believes that light is embedded in the potential dimensions or energy of the natural environment, so before the landscape work of 2019 was created, he was very cautious to select landscapes, combining shapes that can produce strong resonance, to create stunning visual effects.
Projecting light beams onto trees and shrubs, while intervening in the presentation of the landscape, can also...
Without damaging the natural landscape, and without leaving any remaining traces.Riera: ‘My projected light works are either static or slightly and subtly moving, which can be used for meditation.’

Riera shows the audience many layers of the natural world, hoping to deepen the connection between nature and the audience through the works.”

He spent a lot of time researching the history of the landscape. Studying the development of the landscape and the original patterns or structures, so that the final projection can be perfectly suited to the shapes of the trees and branches.
The natural landscape is a very familiar thing to us, but our inner world is perceived as a certain distance and strangeness, they are living beings, and coexist with us in the same ecological environment.
