Small News Client, March 26th (YMG All Media Reporter Qu Caiyun, Correspondent Li Dechun, Wang Kewen Photography Report) "Tulips bloom, butterflies dance, the free trade zone is full of affection for you." The tulip garden built by the Yantai Development Zone Comprehensive Administrative Enforcement Bureau Garden Center is located at the south end of the Tianjie Square (within the free trade zone), covering an area of 5000 square meters and boasting 500,000 tulip plants imported from the Netherlands. On March 26th, while strolling through the tulip garden, the buds swayed gently in the wind, eager to bloom, offering fragrant love to the people of Yantai who fought against the coronavirus. Reporters learned that the tulips willand will be open to the public for free for about a month.

It is understood that the development zone’s Tianjie Square tulip garden planted tulips in December last year, and after a winter of nurturing, they are now in full bloom. The design of the tulip garden is ingenious, fully utilizing different varieties and colors of flowers and usable space to create a combination of "flowers" and "waves," forming a sea of flowers and a flower world, which is integrated with the design concept of Tianjie Square. The five-colored tulips and the existing cherry blossoms complement each other, and the overall pattern is a large tulip flower, symbolizing wealth and elegance, representing people's yearning and pursuit of a prosperous and beautiful life. The blooming flowers symbolize the determination and belief in winning the poverty alleviation battle. Using curves to weave together flowers of different colors creates a different level of superimposed "waves," reflecting the spirit of the Development Zone people who are not afraid of difficulties, bravely set sail to cross the Yellow Sea, and strive to build a new high ground for reform and opening up.

Loving hearts are on the Golden Sand Beach, sailing on the Eight-Corner Bay, building on the Free Trade Zone, hardworking and hospitable Development Zone people will open their broad minds and embrace guests from all over the world.

Tourists and photographers can enjoy sceneries and take photos, and the Garden Center will arrange staff to disinfect Tianjie Square Park and the tulip garden every day, conduct safety inspections and repairs of all play equipment and facilities, and deploy security guards and cleaners to maintain the order and hygiene of the park, providing tourists with a healthy, safe, clean and comfortable environment.
It is reported that the tulip flowering period is about one month, which will open in early April and last until the end of the month.
