She dances ballet on the freezing Lake Baikal, the scene is so beautiful it leaves you speechless.
Lake Baikal is the cleanest lake on Earth. It is located in Siberia, part of Russia. Lake Baikal is the deepest and oldest lake on Earth. Everyone can find souls seeking inspiration or comfort here. Every January, Lake Baikal begins to freeze over, with an average temperature around -38℃ on the shore, and the ice is approximately 70-115cm thick, only thawing after May.
The freezing Lake Baikal is very beautiful, attracting photographers from all over the world to take pictures. Photographer Kristina from Moscow came here, wearing a variety of beautiful clothes and capturing herself dancing on the ice.
“Hello, my name is Kristina, I am a photographer from Moscow. I have been traveling for years to see the ice of the deepest lake in the world – Lake Baikal, this is the result of my expedition.”
“The first time I came here, I almost couldn't breathe. That's why I come back to Lake Baikal every year, sometimes several times a year, even though I’m busy.”
“Lake Baikal is a very spiritual place, where everyone can find inspiration or comfort. I found inspiration for my work. Travel and beautiful places – these are truly what drive you to create masterpieces. Nature is the best sculptor. Look at the clear ice, rocks, splashing water, snow and magnificent skies. In this magical place, you can see more beautiful scenes.”
