The Lost Seal of the Jade Emperor Finally Found, on the Summit of Deep Guizhou Mountains
1As soon as many people hear ‘Fan Tian Yin’ (), they think of the legendary techniques of Dharma Master Ji Gong from ‘Living Buddha Ji Gong’ and ‘New Ji Gong: Living Buddha’ and ‘New Ji Gong’, which are incredibly powerful and can be chained together, especially when combined with Buddhist formations. The golden, giant palm-shaped light with ‘’ symbol is a key feature.
2Yuanshi Tianzun () shattered the Duanwei Mountain () at the Da Chu Mountain (), using the power of the Nine Dragon Cauldron to transform the broken Duanwei Mountain into an unparalleled treasure. It was named ‘Fan Tian Yin’.
3The ‘Fan Tian Yin’ () is located on a narrow and perilous mountain ridge in the east of Jia Ding Village () in Qiding Water Tribe () in Duyin County, Guizhou Province. It’s a rock formation about 3 meters high, with a large top and a small bottom, resembling a giant flat mushroom when viewed up close, and a huge seal when viewed from a distance. This is the famous ‘Fan Tian Yin’ of Jia Ding. There’s also a beautiful legend about its ‘origin’ in the local area.
Legend has it that when Sun Wukong () was causing chaos in the Heavenly Palace, the Jade Emperor () fled and accidentally lost the Seal. It just happened to be upside down on the Jia Ding Mountain. The Jade Emperor sent people to find it and found it upside down. Because it was forbidden to say ‘Fan Tian’ (), it absorbed the Seal’s energy, and the Seal grew into a stone, forever standing on Jia Ding Mountain.
4‘Fan Tian Yin’ () has four sides, all of which are ten-thousand-foot cliffs.
Currently, ‘Fan Tian Yin’ () is being designed by investors as the most beautiful tourist attraction in Guizhou’s Duyin County. If you haven’t seen it, we recommend visiting this divine artifact to bring you good luck.
