Introduction

Danan Mountain is located at the junction of Zengguang Town and Hai feng County in the eastern part of Huizhou. It has high alpine meadows like Wugongshan in Jiangxi, winding highland landscapes, terraced tea gardens in spring with layered stacks, and enchanting reed marshes in autumn. The main attraction is the high alpine grassland – it's said to be the closest grassland to Shenzhen!

Axe Stone Peak serves as the southernmost peak of the Water Bottom Mountain system, standing at 1105 meters. The Water Bottom Mountain system extends from Zengguang Town in the north to Jilong Town in the south, east to Hai feng County, and west to Dalingshan. It's an extension of the entire Nanshan range and one of the highest terrains near the Guangdong coastline. The Water Bottom Mountain system comprises five peaks: Axe Stone Peak (1105m), Water Bottom Mountain (1283m), Niu Pi Zhang (1118m), Jin Pai Shan (950m), and Yin Pai Shan (840m). The five peaks form sharp corners, connected in a single chain. The summit offers sea views, and the ridge provides wind and dust protection. Walking along the ridge, the scenery is endless…
