Enjoying Food and Fun in Leshan: 2 Yuan to See the Giant Buddha! #My View of Spring#
This isn't a traditional travel guide; it's a more casual, spontaneous outing, so there's no 'checking in.' Spending 2 yuan to see the Giant Buddha definitely isn't clickbait; it's more accurately a non-formal visit to the Leshan Giant Buddha with a suggested route.
Below is the main text. Travelers arriving from outside the city need to take a train from Chengdu East Station to Leshan City, the ticket price is approximately 54 yuan, and it takes about 1 hour, which is quite fast considering the current pace of transportation development which has significantly reduced travel time. This is a good thing.

Chengdu East Station

After arriving at Leshan Station, turn right out of the station and take bus number 12 to the Tuoqiao Street Station, the ticket price is 1 yuan. The advantage of taking the bus is that you can slowly pass through Leshan City and get a general understanding of it. After getting off at Tuoqiao Street Station, you can walk straight for a few hundred meters to see a rustic building wall and ancient building - this is Leshan Iron Bull Gate.

After passing through Iron Bull Gate, heading to the riverbank will take you to the focus of this trip – the ferry. The boat ticket costs 2 yuan per person, including two trips. Friendly reminder: Currently only accepts cash, please bring change.
The timetable is shown below, departures are every 60 people.

Traveling with locals and taking the ferry is a very grounded travel experience.
The first trip is very short, the boat doesn't take more than a few minutes to reach the opposite bank, Island Hexin Island, you need to get off the boat and walk across the island to the other end. At that time, the second connecting boat was already waiting for you here. I was wondering why it was so close and they didn't build a bridge. Later I realized that taking a boat was a very good choice.

The second trip isn't too long, and you can find the Leshan Giant Buddha in front of you.
Finally arrive at the destination – Daba Village, where the Giant Buddha is located. This is a good place to view the Giant Buddha.
Walking along the river on the island, you can also choose to sit at the riverside tea shop, drink a cup of tea, and slowly enjoy the Leshan Giant Buddha scenery. This is the way locals view the Giant Buddha.
Friendly reminder, it's best to go in the afternoon, so the sun can shine directly on the front of the Giant Buddha. This is my experience, because I went in the morning, the whole Giant Buddha was in the shadow, plus the mist on the river, it was a bit blurry.

If you're as restless as me, you can explore Daba Village, which has many abandoned buildings, and taking pictures there can create a sense of atmosphere.

Although the Leshan Giant Buddha is a must-visit in Leshan, Leshan's food is also a must-try. So the time after noon is spent searching for food.
However, I still don't go to the usual trendy shops. To avoid the feeling of guilt when eating and drinking, I think that the whole trip was done on foot, randomly finding good food.
Walking from Iron Bull Gate, passing through Zhang Gong Bridge, you arrived near Leshan Square. Walking and eating along the way, you walked three ten thousand steps and successfully conquered WeChat Fitness. There's no such thing as no dieting in March and a sad year of injury.

To avoid the suspicion of advertising, the names of the stores visited will not be mentioned. However, if you're as restless as me, finding good food in Leshan is easier than you think, you don't even need to go to all the trendy shops specifically to check in, believe me~
