On March 25th, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture officially launched the 'Hainan Tourism Flagship Store' on Meituan Dianping, marking a collaborative effort between Hainan tourism and Meituan to promote the recovery of Hainan tourism destinations.

This is a specific measure implemented by the Department to fulfill the 'Plan for the Post-Epidemic Revival of Hainan Tourism Industry – Thirty Action Measures (2020-2021)' . A relevant official from the Department stated that they hope to stimulate public enthusiasm for travel through multiple channels and methods, orderly draw out and release consumption potential, and add new vitality to the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.

As the first item in the 'Safe Destination Recovery' series, the Hainan Tourism Flagship Store offers resources such as Hainan's scenic spots, hotels, and cuisine, comprehensively showcasing the destination's image of 'Sunshine Hainan, Holiday Paradise'. By leveraging the Meituan platform, the Department aims to accelerate the recovery and development of Hainan's tourism post-epidemic.

Users can access the Meituan App, modify their location to any city in Hainan Province, and click on the 'Scenic Spots/Tickets' and 'Tour/Travel' sections to view the 'Hainan Tourism Flagship Store' specifically designed for Hainan.The Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture emphasized the importance of tourism development for Hainan and hoped to leverage the collaboration with Meituan, capitalizing on Meituan's strengths in marketing promotion, branding, and product planning, while providing users with a better consumption experience, and contribute to opening up new internet marketing promotion patterns for Hainan's tourism industry.
