You Pin Tan Dian: Hong Ya Dong's Hong Jiu Ge Hot Pot - The Lack of Double Pots Became the Biggest Draw
Hong Jiu Ge hot pot has achieved extreme marketing in recent years, and the boss is incredibly wealthy, choosing locations exclusively in prime areas like Hongya Cave, Riyuetian Square, and Sanxian Square. Despite the relentless 'bombardment' of advertisements, it's a must-try.
I chose Hongya Cave because the night view is exceptionally beautiful. Perched on the Hongya Cave cliffs, overlooking the Jialing River with the backdrop of the Qianhu Men Bridge, it's hard to find a more Chongqing-centric and romantic way to enjoy hot pot.
They don't sell (duan yang guo - double-pot), they only sell red soup hot pot, which is what Hong Jiu Ge first proclaimed, attracting a large fan base.
Whether local diners or foreign tourists, everyone comes to experience it. Look, on the hot pot base, you can see the words 'We don't sell' in large letters, further cementing the impression on diners.
The overall interior design is Chinese-style, with dragon carvings and large wooden tables, creating a truly grand atmosphere.
If I had to pick one flaw in the decoration, it's the weak air conditioning system, which makes the entire restaurant feel a bit stuffy.
Hong Jiu Ge's hot pot base is intensely spicy, with no instances of blandness or bitterness, making it an excellent base.
Once the meat is cooked through, we immediately start eating!
(Xiang sheng wan zi - Sounding Meatballs),
This dish is highly innovative, combining the name and the dish itself in a clever way.
The combination of preserved vegetables and thinly sliced lotus root, topped with meatballs, became the Sounding Meatballs. Can you hear the 'sound' of the crispness as you eat them?
Unlike traditional fragrant meatballs, Sounding Meatballs have more chewiness, and you really can hear the 'sound' when you eat them!
(Shuang jiao ni rou - Double Pepper Beef),
In a hot pot, how could you miss out on ordering beef tripe?
Even though I don't usually enjoy beef tripe, it has become a highly symbolic dish. I have to praise Hong Jiu Ge's beef tripe – it's completely free of mushiness, and it's crisp with every bite! It's fully cooked in seven or eight minutes, with only a slightly higher price, lacking no flaws.
Overall, Hong Jiu Ge is worth visiting, especially when entertaining foreign friends; here, you can not only experience the charm of Hongya Cave's hanging staircases, but also appreciate a scenic view worth hundreds of millions of yuan. The atmosphere is undeniable!
Furthermore, the waiters have designated service areas, enhancing the experience. Of course, if you're lucky, like the Yipu, you might even encounter a 'heart cloud' (which wasn't photoshopped later) - truly romantic!
I hope you who see this heart cloud also have a good mood.
