In order to build the most Hunan-characteristic well-known brand boutique tourism routes, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism organized the 'Splendid Hunan' Hunan Tourism Boutique Route Selection activity. According to five sectors (Changsha-Zhuzhou-Zhuzhou sector, Ring Dongting Lake sector, Dayi Sector, Xuefeng Mountain Sector, and Xiangnan Sector) spatial distribution, after route solicitation, preliminary screening, online voting, expert review, and multiple selections and discussions, and after soliciting opinions repeatedly, and after approval from the Provincial Publicity Department and the Provincial People's Government, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism decided to clearly define 5 boutique routes and 2 red routes as 'Splendid Hunan' Hunan Tourism Boutique Routes
