From the Eastern Han Dynasty to the early years of the Tang Dynasty, this area belonged to the minority ethnic regimes of Northeast China, namely the Xianbei established the Balhae State's Xijing Prefecture Fuzhou. Today we will visit Jilin Province's Baihe County, located at the south foot of Changbai Mountain, on the right bank of the Amo River, and facing five counties in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea across the Amo River.

This day's itinerary is a bit tiring, the drive from Changchun to Baihe County is about 450 kilometers, taking about 7 hours. But all fatigue disappears in this beautiful small town. We happened to catch the opening ceremony of Baihe County's Cultural Tourism Festival, with crowds on the square waiting for the grand opening performance. Beautiful Korean minority women radiate the most beautiful smiles, allowing us to feel a long-missed warmth.

The bustling event hall is surprisingly orderly, with a one-way entrance, no turning back, so everyone doesn't have to worry about getting lost.

Baihe County, Korean Autonomous County, belongs to Jilin Province's Baihe County, located in Jilin Province's southeastern part, south foot of Changbai Mountain, north with Linjiang City and Fushun County, bordering.

People dressed in festive attire gather here, welcoming friends from all over the world with the most beautiful smiles. In this relaxed small town, music boils around.

The two sides of the square gather many artists and cultural creators, their skillful demonstrations and skills draw cheers from passersby. Look at the children's serious expressions, it takes less than a minute, and a beautiful paper-cutting artwork is born.

As the night falls, the lights are beginning to shine. The relaxed small town and Korea are overlooking each other from afar. In all four seasons, it paints a beautiful picture. Here, time is comfortable and slow, you can always find a long-missed peace and warmth.
