May Your Happiness Remain Constant

Life is fleeting, like the spring of grass and trees; it comes like a storm and departs like dust.
Cloudy mist and azure pines are my companions; a pot of turbid wine tempers my mind.

Don't dwell too much on what you've lost. Few things can be held in your hands; letting go allows you to pick them up again.
What others have may not be suitable for you. Things that don't belong to you are useless; they will eventually be lost anyway.
You don't need to worry about who likes you and who dislikes you. Busy yourself with meaningful things, and your heart will be full and enriched.
None of us are anyone else's subordinate. Don't make things difficult for others, and don't compromise yourself.

May you walk with the wind, and may you smile without sorrow. May your life be calm and serene, and may your happiness always be constant; that will be the best time of your life.
