After Graduation, Do You No Longer Need to 'Grow'?
When we talk about 'growth,' we all think of children, it seems likegrowth is about growing taller and maturing, a visible change.By the time you're 18, you've become what's called an adult, and you no longer grow, or you don't need to grow anymore.
Is that really true?
Your height might plateau, knowledge won't
Most people's height won't change much when they enter university, and it might even decrease with age.
Physical variables are hard to control, of course, you can use growth shoes to solve it, but when you take them off, you return to your original state, it's just an 'illusion' on the outside.
In contrast, intellectual variables have no upper limit.
When we talk about 'knowledge,' it seems like it's only something students need to encounter. I used to think so too.
When you actually enter the workforce, you'll find that you don't know many things, and you still need to learn and work hard, and sometimes even harder than when you were in school. Because at that time, you have to take responsibility for yourself.
You can't stop growing, or you'll be eliminated by society.
Growth is a dynamic process that covers our entire lives. 'It's like rowing against the current; if you don't move forward, you'll be left behind.' Learning and growth are lifelong pursuits, don't think that after graduation you'll be 'free.'
Growth is like rowing against the current; if you don't move forward, you'll be left behind.
Some classmates completely abandoned books after graduation, and some people may think this is chic, but don't forget that some people haven't stopped learning.
In the same society, when you stop growing, others are still working hard to improve. Perhaps they started from the same starting line, but now they've surpassed you.
So, don't complain that you don't have opportunities or that society is unfair.Unfairness certainly exists, but if we don't make an effort, it doesn't matter whether it's fair or not.
Do you have the grasp to seize it when the opportunity comes to you now?
Only when we realize the importance of growth and always maintain a growth mindset, can we make progress. When opportunities come, we can't miss them.
Take immediate action, continuous learning
Of course,Continuous learning is not easy
We need to overcome inertia, resist external temptations, and refuse immediate high-feedback games/TV shows, especially when we still haven't learned after a long period of time, we can always maintain the motivation to learn.
It's really hard, though.Difficult is also a threshold
Only those who cross this threshold are worthy of things that others cannot touch.
Never refuse growth, always maintain an open mind, embrace change, embrace effort, and only then will you have a more attractive life.
