Embrace Nature, Challenge Yourself, and Explore Ice Climbing

Outdoor sports inherently possess a sense of adventure, falling under the categories of extreme and sub-extreme activities, presenting significant challenges and excitement. It represents embracing nature and challenging oneself.

It's often circulated online that foreigners have fewer people because they are reckless and indulge in various extreme activities without restraint. In reality, it's simply a foreign attitude of challenging oneself, which makes us appear cautious in comparison.

Ice climbing has evolved from rock climbing and is a necessary subject for climbing high mountains and snow, it's also a fundamental skill for mountaineering.
Ice climbing, once considered a professional athlete's extreme sport, has become increasingly accessible to outdoor sports enthusiasts in recent years due to the development of numerous ice waterfalls and ice walls, as well as the continuous advancement of ice climbing equipment.

Ice picks support the body during ice climbing and are used in pairs. One pick's back end has a hammer, and the other pick's back end has an ice shovel. The handles of both picks often have wrist guards, allowing them to be worn on the wrist to prevent slipping.

In traditional mountaineering, ice picks were primarily used for self-protection and maintaining body balance. Since the equipment has been reformed, the design and production of ice picks have changed from a single length, fixed shape and inseparable parts, to a different length, flexible shape and variable angle characteristics, and parts can be replaced at any time.

There's a saying in the ice climbing community: 'Never let go.' Unlike rock, ice is less controllable, and rock climbing protection points are relatively more stable. Ice protection points are formed by ice picks, but ice cannot withstand large impacts, so ropes are tightened during rock climbing to reduce the fall distance.
Every extreme activity allows us to experience different aspects of life, which can inspire our desire and love for life, appreciate what we have at present, food, water, and every beautiful thing we see.

Although these projects have inherent risks, modern equipment is increasingly advanced and can ensure our safety. As long as you are careful and attentive, there will be no problems. It depends on whether you dare to take that step!
