Dandong Strawberries
Dandong Strawberries, a specialty of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, certified as a National Geographic Agricultural Product.
The Dandong region is part of the Liao Mountains, specifically a branch or remnant of the Changbai Mountains extending southwestward, boasting abundant water resources, a humid climate with sufficient rainfall, ample sunlight, and conditions ideal for strawberry growth. Dandong strawberries have cone-shaped or oblong-cone-shaped, elliptical appearances, characterized by their beautiful shape, vibrant color, rich aroma, and pleasant sweetness.

How did 'milk strawberry' get its name? Strawberries are not cultivated with milk; the claim that normal watering is used is likely due to the soil and sunlight. I don't know the exact reason for the name, but I know that after being sealed, for example, in a warming box or a preservation bag, when opened, a strong milky-sweet fragrance is detectable. There's even a trick for eating strawberries: if the 'butt' flies up, the strawberry is definitely the best!
