Perfect Blend of Nuts and Coffee: The Best Afternoon Tea Dessert to Make at Home, Fragrant Throughout the Building

Ingredients Preparation
Low-gluten flour 90g
Instant coffee powder 10g
Nuts 35g
Butter caramel sauce (recipe tutorial in the end)
Butter 50g
Milk 75g
Egg liquid 50g
Brown sugar 45g
Salt 1g
Baking powder 5g
Let's Start Making
1Prepare the ingredients, butter soften to the room temperature so that you can easily press with your finger.
2Roast the nuts in the oven at 180 degrees, medium rack, 5-8 minutes to roast.

3Cool slightly and chop into smaller pieces, add appropriate amount of caramel sauce and mix well.

4Softened butter, gradually add brown sugar and salt, use an electric mixer to beat until white and fluffy.

5Whisk eggs, gradually add the butter mixture, each time thoroughly mix and add the next time.
6Pour in milk, sift low-gluten flour, coffee powder and baking powder into the cake batter, mix with a scraper to make a moist batter.

7Pour in the caramel sauce coated nut pieces and mix well.

8Pour into paper cups about 8/9 full, preheat the oven, choose top and bottom heat, medium rack, 160 degrees for 30 minutes or so.
Bake until the cake is fully expanded and golden brown.

1Do not overmix the batter, otherwise it will cause the texture to be rough.
2Pour the cake batter into the paper cups about 8/9 full, too much batter will affect the appearance of the finished product.
3Please adjust the baking time according to your oven's characteristics and the size of the paper cups.
4Butter caramel sauce recipe: 40g granulated sugar, 15g water, 100g cream. Method: Mix sugar and water in a small pot over low heat until it boils (do not stir in the middle), immediately turn off the heat when caramel color appears, add warm cream little by little and stir until smooth.
5Let the caramel sauce cool and store it in the refrigerator.
6The nuts in the recipe can be replaced with other nuts, if you don't have brown sugar, you can use an equal amount of sugar instead.
