Meltingly Delicious Wife Pies - So Good You'll Spin in Circles



Wife pie, wife pie, why is there no wife? You often hear people joke about this. It's much like how couple's sliced beef has no couple, hot dog has no dog, and fish fragrant pork loin has no fish.



Today I want to introduce a simple recipe for wife pie. The result will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious and not greasy.

Custard filling ingredients:

Eggs 3, granulated sugar 50g, pure milk 200g, butter 60g, medium-strength flour 50g, cornstarch 60g, milk powder 30g

*Water oil dough: *75g water, 50g butter, 30g sugar, medium-strength flour 170g.

*Oil dough: low-gluten flour 130g, butter 50g

Steps:

1. Add all the ingredients for the custard filling to a small saucepan, and stir with a whisk

Heat over low heat, while heating stir constantly until it forms a ball.


2. Divide the custard filling into 16 portions

3. Put the oil dough ingredients into a bowl, and mix well

4. Put the water oil dough ingredients into the bread maker

Knead for 20 minutes, and rest for 20 minutes.

5. Spread the awakened water oil dough into a sheet


Wrap in oil dough, pinch tightly to close the mouth.

6. Press the dough flat and roll it into a long rectangle

7. Fold it to the left and right edges towards the middle

8. Turn the face over and roll it out again to make it longer

9. Continue to fold it into three sections and cover it to rest for 15 minutes

10. Roll the slice into a large thin rectangle, and roll it up and cut it into 16 pieces


11. Take a small ball, and press flat and roll it into a thin slice

12. Make 16 pieces in this way, and place them on a baking sheet
