Nabe beef brisket as beef with tendons, meat and fat, can be braised, stewed or stir-fried, with a tender and chewy texture and full of meaty aroma, it's very satisfying to eat. Today, let's share a simple recipe for beef brisket, besides the regular ingredients, it also added yam and dried tofu. It can absorb the greasy oil and bring a different flavor to the beef brisket.

In this chilly and warm season, let's have a bowl of warm and comforting soup~

Beef brisket with yam and dried tofu

Ingredients

Beef brisket 250g

Yam 150g

Dried tofu 40g

Green onion 10g

Ginger 2 slices

Garlic 2 cloves

Bay leaf 1 piece

Star anise 1 piece

Brown sugar 8g

Old soy sauce 3g

Salt 2g

Vegetable oil appropriate amount

Warm water appropriate amount

- 1 -Soak 40g dried tofu in warm water.

After softening, cut into small pieces.

Peel and cut 150g yam into small pieces.

Put 250g beef brisket cut into small pieces into a pot, boil and blanch for about 1 minute.

If you want a softer and more tender texture, you can pre-braise the beef brisket and an appropriate amount of water in a pressure cooker for about 20 minutes.

Remove and reserve.

Heat oil in a stir-fry pan, add garlic and ginger, sauté over high heat.

Then add the beef brisket and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.

Add 8g brown sugar and stir-fry until melted.

Add 3g old soy sauce, stir-fry evenly and add 10g green onion, 1 star anise, 1 bay leaf. Star anise, bay leaf etc. can be chosen not to add according to the baby's age and taste.

Immediately add an appropriate amount of warm water, covering the ingredients.

Cover and simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes.
