Here's the Easiest Donut Recipe Ever, No Oven Required, Just a Small Pot!

Donut, also known as Donas or Danzi, is a sweet treat made by frying flour, white sugar, cream, and eggs. The most common shapes are hollow rings or closed-type donuts with cream, egg mixture (referring to egg-based liquids like custard) filling inside the dough.

Donuts are loved by children because of their beautiful shape and delicious taste, but many people think that their recipe must be quite complex and that most families don't have such complete baking tools, so many people are discouraged from making donuts. Today, ‘Mama Tu’ will share a particularly simple method that doesn’t require complete baking tools; you can make delicious and beautiful donuts with the common tools you have at home – disposable paper cups and spoons. A slightly deepened small pot is all you need! Let’s follow ‘Mama Tu’’s steps to start.

Ingredients Preparation

Common Flour (Bread Flour can be used)————2 cups (Disposable Paper Cups)

Yeast————1 spoon

Eggs————1

White Sugar————3 spoons (Add more if you want it sweeter, reduce if you don’t want it too sweet)

Oil————2 spoons

Milk————150g (You don’t really need to measure it, just add all the ingredients in stages to make the flour become a - (xu zhang) – a crumbly mixture; measure by volume)

Making Process

First step: Put 2 paper cup flour, 1 spoon yeast, one egg, 2 spoons white sugar, and 2 spoons oil into a large bowl, add milk in stages and stir until it becomes a (xu zhang) – a crumbly mixture.

Second step: Then knead the crumbly dough into a smooth dough, cover it with plastic wrap, and put it in a warm place to ferment.

Third step: When the dough has fermented to twice its original size, take it out, knead it to release air, then roll it into a long strip, cut it into several equal-sized dough pieces. ‘Mama Tu’ made these ingredients into 7 pieces. After shaping these dough pieces into circles and placing them on the cutting board and covering them with plastic wrap for a secondary fermentation, about 15 minutes, the dough will obviously become bigger and better.

Fourth step: Take the secondary fermented small dough pieces, poke a hole in the middle with a finger, then turn it around and around, and you’ll form the donut shape.

Fifth step: Heat oil in a small pot, first medium heat, then low heat, maintain the oil temperature at about 100°C. Put the donuts into the pot and slowly fry one side at a time, then flip it when it’s set, fry until both sides are golden brown. ‘Mama Tu’ uses a small pot to save oil, one at a time, you can also use a large pot to fry several pieces at once, but the more oil you use. However, ‘Mama Tu’ still recommends using a small pot, which can save oil, because we are making it occasionally for a snack.

Sixth step: Heat a piece of chocolate in a pot until it melts into chocolate sauce. You can also add some milk.

Seventh step: After the chocolate melts, dip the donuts one by one into the chocolate sauce, and then sprinkle some decorations on top. ‘Mama Tu’ uses shredded coconut and fruit flakes, which are also very beautiful.

Finally arrange the plate, bring it to the table, with a rich chocolate flavor, sweet and delicious, and very beautiful in appearance. ‘Tu Tu’ is already impatient, so only 6 are left on the table, haha, one has already been in ‘Tu Tu’’s belly, which shows how delicious it is!

Here are 2 close-up shots, the outside is sweet and fluffy, the inside is tender, delicious donuts, the recipe is so simple!

Make one for your child, bring a little snack and joy to life, life is so simple, food is so simple, without complex tools, as long as you have a desire to try, take it slowly, you can also do it, let’s make it together!
