Crocodile Holding Meat Spotted While Sleeping, Bold Leopard Seizes 2 Large Pieces

Wildlife photographer Nicole (Nicole Dangur) loves to take nocturnal shots in the jungle. During a shoot in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, she unexpectedly spotted a wild leopard grabbing meat from the mouth of a sleeping crocodile.
The crocodile was sleeping with a deer it had caught in its mouth. The leopard saw this and, boldly, tried to snatch the meat from the crocodile's mouth for a feast.
The leopard cautiously approached the crocodile, carefully pulling out a large chunk of meat that was already visible in its mouth. When the crocodile didn't wake up, the leopard became even bolder and pulled the entire deer leg out. The crocodile, woken from its slumber, opened its eyes, perhaps not fully awake, and didn't react, at which point the leopard became even more brazen and snatched the whole deer leg in a flash. After joining up with its companions who were waiting nearby, it enjoyed a feast.
According to foreign media reports, there are frequently cases of leopards and crocodiles competing for food in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.
