Cycling Loop Route (1)

The total length is about three hundred kilometers, and the time is two to three days. This route has been ridden twice, driven once. When cycling, the first loop took two days, which was during the cycling peak, the second time took three days, and it was very exhausted.

From the starting point to Wubu, there is nothing special to say, after leaving the town, riding on the rural road, passing through villages and towns. It passed by an old military bridge with flowing water underneath, which was very clear. It was a place to rest and row boats. There were water chickens and ducks on the river, and there was rice on both sides. Unfortunately, it's now completely dry.

Approaching Wubu Town, turn right towards Baiyun Temple Forest Park, which is also a good place to visit. There are six thousand-year-old silver birch trees inside. Baiyun Temple has been around since the Tang Dynasty and has a lot of ancient charm. You can exit through a side gate from the temple and go up the mountain to the top, where there is a Zhenwu Temple dedicated to the Great Emperor Wuzhi. The temple is small but has a unique atmosphere. If you have plenty of time, you can visit it.

Starting from the Buquan Reservoir Office Building, this is a familiar route for cycling friends. From the deceleration band in front of the office building to the end of the Baoquan Tunnel, the total length is 12 kilometers. It takes an hour or less to ride up, which is considered graduating. This graduation slope has been ridden five times, with the best time being 70 minutes and the worst being three hours! My cycling philosophy is that cycling is a way of walking, not a race for speed.

After riding over the Baoquan Tunnel, there is a gentle downhill to Tan Village, this section of the road is ridden on cliffs, with rock on the right and a deep chasm on the left. If there are no trees to block the view, the feeling of excitement will be even more intense. If you have a fear of heights, don't look around randomly, your heart will beat faster. On the first step on this road, there is a temple next to the cliff edge, resembling Suspended Temple, but inside it worships the Emperor of Heaven. There are three halls, a main hall and two side halls.

Tan Village has a fork, you can turn left downhill to Xigou, be sure to go right ahead. This is the beginning of a uphill, the top is Pidian Village, there is a sign with Chen Geng Command posted, now it's occupied by residents. Downhill, straight ahead, crossing the border at Jiaodian.

At the T-shaped crossroads, turn left and there is a stele, pointing towards Wujiawan.

About seven or eight kilometers ahead is the Buwuan Reservoir. Here you can rest and have a good meal, usually arriving around 1 p.m.

Continuing from the reservoir, not far away is a village with slogans from that era on the walls, which is a fun experience. And there is a strange stone temple in the village. On a huge boulder, there is a pine tree, and two small temples have been carved and built.

Starting from here is a gently undulating road, all the way to Shuangdi Village, Qin Jia Mo Village. It is usually recommended to stay here. There is a sloping road in Shuangdi Village, leading to Xiao Hutou Waterfall, Hongdou Gorge.

Continuing the journey on the second day, crossing Black Hair Gully. This is a very shocking mountain road. Before it was opened, the traffic between the two sides relied on the Baijing Ancient Road. Now it is a scenic spot, and hikers travel on this ancient road.
