I'm waiting for you at Wusong Ancient Town this spring.
It's Saturday today, the weather is nice. Actually, we had discussed this before, we were going to Wusong Ancient Town for a visit. I went ahead to explore the route, waiting for you to arrive so we can have a great time together. Because it's close, we took a bicycle, the spring breeze came along, warm and refreshing. The Yangtze River cruise ships sailed by, a busy scene. The West Dike of the Grand Canal is under construction, occupying a large area of the road, and many pedestrians. This shows that Wuxi's resumption of work and production is still good, after all, companies need to survive and workers need to live.

Before Beijing, I thought Beijing's trees were beautiful, Wuxi's trees also have their own flavor, winding and twisting extending into the middle of the road, pedestrians walked as if in a green time tunnel, the sunshine shone through the leaves, casting dappled light, very comfortable. Of course, I was eager to share my mood with you. I took photos for you to see, it felt like you were always by my side.

Cypress Trees Along the Road
Approaching, I saw a crowd, I thought we had arrived, those people were waiting in line to buy tickets, until I got closer and realized it was a steamed bun shop. I regretted not buying one then, I don't know what the taste is like, let's eat together when you come over.

Steamed Bun Shop at the Roadside
It's about a kilometer from here, and this is the main entrance of Wusong Ancient Town, with white and gray walls, typical of the South.

There will be security checks before entering, which is less crowded than last week at Caotu. Online reviews said it wasn't worth visiting, but since I'd never been, I was full of anticipation. As a historical and cultural street, it's worth a visit, many ancestral halls have been preserved, the main gate looks inconspicuous, but once you enter, you'll find a hidden gem, regardless of the size of the courtyard, there will be small bridges and flowing water, very exquisite.
Qianlong's Retreat Garden

From here, if you can't walk, it's about a kilometer. This is the main entrance of Qianlong's Retreat Garden, with two inconspicuous small doors, but once inside, you'll find that it's very large. I took a few photos here, including Eight Springs Valley and other attractions. I've forgotten the exact names, please see the pictures.

The trees and the lake are perfectly matched.
Finally, we went to Wusong Park. I didn't want to go, but I wanted to see the second-ranked spring to experience the scenery of Erquan Spring. Frankly speaking, the second spring was a bit ordinary, perhaps because it only had one spring. It's really not that special compared to the first spring in Jinan. Please see the pictures.

Jinan's First-Ranked Spring

Haha, please see the pictures yourself, no need to say more. Jinan has 72 springs, not just, because the water of flowed into Daming Lake, so here is a little less prominent. And Daming Lake has gained a horizontal spring.

The shops in the park are not very distinctive, just like the ones in other places.
