Large Amounts of Stalactites, Fossils, and Cave Paintings Discovered in Tianlang Village Cave
A group of spelunking outdoor enthusiasts discovered an unnamed cave in Tianlang Village, Guyan Town, Lufan County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. After a preliminary exploration, they found a large number of stalactites, stone manes, and other cave landscapes inside the cave. They also discovered relatively complete fish fossils and mysterious rock paintings. The cave is located at an altitude of about 900 meters above sea level.

According to reports, the cave is located in the middle of the mountain, and the cave entrance can only accommodate one person crawling through. The cave entrance is covered with vegetation, making it difficult to be discovered. In addition, enthusiasts found two north-south cave entrances and crawled into the inside, where there are three hall-like cave rooms with an area of about 200 square meters. The cave has magnificent stone stalactites, stone manes, and stone flags.

Furthermore, a rock wall on the left side of the cave entrance was discovered with rock formations that resemble fish, and there are also relatively complete fish rock paintings. One of the fish rock paintings has three heads connected, which feels very precious. The preliminary estimate is that it was left by people who lived here before, and the fish-shaped patterns are auspicious symbols, so we named this cave Three Fish Cave (named by the adventure outdoor enthusiasts).

Spelunking outdoor enthusiasts said: We hope the local government will protect the cave and the stone stalactites inside the cave, prohibit buying and selling and damaging. During the exploration, they discovered a vertical cave in the depths of the cave and plan to revisit it in the near future for further investigation. If there is any development value, we hope it can be included in rural tourism development to benefit the local villagers.
