It's a Must to Meet Cross-Dressers in Thailand! How to Identify Cross-Dressers in Thailand?
I believe many of you must have heard of the 'Four Major Evil Arts' of Asia. Early China's 'PS technique' and Japan's 'makeup art' were shocking, and photos after PS were astonishing. Similarly, makeup transformed people into completely different individuals. However, South Korea directly invented plastic surgery, which is far more advanced and allows for a completely different appearance without needing PS or makeup. But compared to Thailand's 'transgender surgery,' the others were just child's play.
Many people say that it's reassuring to meet a Chinese woman in person because of the numerous 'look-alikes.' Whereas, dating a Japanese girl is easy – just take her swimming or bring a makeup remover, and you're good to go. Dating Korean girls, however, requires careful study of their faces because you never know where the real features lie. But dating Thai girls is the most terrifying – regardless of whether they're a look-alike, whether they're wearing makeup, or whether they've had plastic surgery, you first determine if they're a man or a woman.
Transformation is very popular in Thailand, which has given rise to a group of people called 'kanya' (ladyboys). When they appear before others, they attract curious glances. But they are not to blame, as many Thai families are economically disadvantaged. Therefore, many young men choose to undergo transformation to bring them more money to support their families. However, some individuals have a different perception of their gender, believing that although their physical structure is male, their inner self is female, and transformation is essentially fulfilling their dream.
In Thailand, one way to determine whether someone is a kanya is to examine their identification card, as the information on the ID card does not change with gender transformation. However, it's impossible to have someone produce your ID for inspection. Therefore, there are other ways to determine it.
First, you can discern it by looking at their appearance. Many people who have undergone transformation will have a feminine appearance. However, by examining some details of the body, you can tell. For example, men have larger bones in their hands than women, which is innate. If the person's hands are as big as a man's, then they are a man.
Another method is to listen to their voice, because male voices and female voices have distinct differences. Generally, male voices are coarser, although many people will imitate a female voice. If you listen carefully, you can still distinguish the difference.
Kanya have become a characteristic of Thai tourism. However, these people need to take medication for a long time after surgery, so people should not treat them with prejudiced attitudes. If you cannot accept it, you can simply not go on a Thai tourism. What do you think about this?
