Jiaozhou, also known as Hunjiang, belongs to Jilin Province and is known as 'a treasure trove of three-dimensional resources', 'Changbai Mountain Forest Sea', and 'a ginseng town'.
In the Neolithic era, human activities occurred in Jiaozhou, Jiaozhou belonged to the Liaodong Outer Commandery of the Qin Dynasty, and was renamed Jiaozhou in 1994. Jiaozhou belongs to the North Temperate Continental Monsoon Climate. Famous tourist attractions include Changbai Mountain Sky Pool and Yang Jingwu General Cemetery. The main rivers in Jiaozhou include the Yalu River, the head of the Songhua River, the second branch of the Songhua River, and the Hunjiang River.
